Brittany Hunter

Despite being limited by a knee injury during her three years at UConn after transferring from Duke, Brittany Hunter is making the most of her senior year. She's having her best season at UConn starting 19 out of the 20 games she's played in and scoring 6.4 points in 12.3 minutes per game. Hunter didn't play on Senior Night due to injury but she was honored before the game during the festivities and after the game by her teammates (bottom right photo).

Ketia Swanier

Ketia Swanier has made a smooth transition from the team's "sixth man" to a starter having the best game of her career on Senior Night with a career-high 21 points. She's currently 9th in both career steals (with 232) AND career assists (with 445) despite playing most of her career coming off of the bench. Leading the team with an average of 4.3 assists per game, Swanier is one of the reasons why UConn currently leads the nation with 21.4 assists per game.  The key to Swanier's success is her speed which allows her to get past defenders and into the open court (bottom right photo).

Charde Houston

Charde Houston currently holds the 23rd spot on UConn's career scoring list with an impressive 1267 points over the past 4 seasons. On the defensive end, she has been equally impressive and now sits 9th on UConn's career blocked shot list with 129...just one block behind 8th place Swin Cash.  Whenever Houston gets the ball, she attracts a crowd (bottom right photo).

Mel Thomas

Mel Thomas unfortunately had her senior season cut short with a college career ending ACL injury but not before reaching 28th on UConn's career scoring list with 1098 points over the past 4 seasons. A productive three-point shooter, Mel Thomas now holds the 4th place on UConn's career three-point field goal list with 224 made threes. Unable to participate in the game on Senior Night, Thomas was still introduced to the crowd as an honorary starter (bottom right photo).
